| Bob Brown, my husband of 37 years
died of colon cancer on
May 20th, 2003 The things that keep me going are that we had a
great married life of 37 years and I will see him again one
day in Heaven. Knowing what "forever feels like" and
missing him daily, as does his 2 sons and 7 grandchildren,
Mom, sisters, brothers, and rest of our family.
It helps in grief, to reduce
things to paper, had seen lots of loving, death and dying
grief poems, so I put up my own grief poem. The Poem I wrote,
When I
Tithe, I cry Tears of Pain click, to see his 'ride'

Informing family and freinds of progress on the
Brown family cemetery.
This is the 4 page Tribute and how we did Bob's funeral,
as he requested, without the services of any funeral
director, or embalming. A Family funeral, done with
love. http://www.burialitems.com/misc/bobfrunl.pdf
We buried Bob beside his cousin, Don Brown ( who
had died of heart problems before 50)in Evergreen
Cemetery, in Painesville - hopefully this is temporary
and we will be able to move him to the Brown's family
cemetery.
When we have exhausted all avenues of appeals,
then will we quit, not until. The 4 acres we wish to
turn into the Brown family cemetery is perfect for this,
as even the engineer who designed the area testified. We
lost our plea at the zoning meeting, then we took an
appeal to Lake County Oh, Common Pleas, Judge Paul H.
Mitrovich, still a Painesville judge, and much politics
involved. Lost that, and appealed now to the 11th
district appeals court. They have had it a few months
already, and we understand it may take 9 months or more
to get answers here. This is out of the city, and they
will look at more details and not be so political
involved with Painesville Township people.
As you might guess, it is costing
several thousand to do all of this. However, we didn't
consider the cost, as this is the only chance we will
have to get this done. It will not wait, as once
started, if we tried to wait, it can't be restarted. By
then there will be zoning issues in place, restricting
ANY cemeteries in Painesville Township.
-The zoning as it stands, does not forbid it,
and the State of Ohio permits it. A family cemetery is
one who is 70% related. All requirements / records would
be strictly upheld. Our sons have intent to carry on,
and there will be a Board of Directors. By being
successful here, all the Brown family will have a grave
yard for generations. The cemetery will be
a natural cemetery, fenced in, and beautifully flowered
with wild flowers. In our owning a construction firm,
having the excavation equipment and dump truck and 2
sons to run them- also even our Grand children know how
to run a backhoe. The land, the future in mind, and
everything else makes it perfect. If any assistance in
getting this done, questions or ideas to this end,
please call me, Betty 440-942-8769.
ps. If you are a stock car fan / friend or family of
Bob's and you are reading this as a result of the notice
in the News Herald, note, I owe all of Bob's Friends and
family a huge Thank You, for your show of love and
respect and assistance to our family. Thanks from the
bottom of my heart. We all miss him Terribly, and we
know what a sorrowful forever feels like. God Bless,
Betty Please use comment form and read bit more
information.

One can
perhaps better accept death as an end - of this life on Earth,
when one is satisfied with their life. One can only be truly
satisfied with their life when accomplishments are measured in
terms of potential. If you live up to your potential, you
should never fear death. For by living up to that potential,
you have given all of your greatest gifts, and your life had
meaning. This is true no matter what age, what religion, or
what background someone comes from. Help therefore, others to
reach their Life's Goals. Tomorrow is promised to no one,
Today is a Gift - to use to your best ability. Death's
'sting' is made less by those whose faith and 'hope' is a
reunion in Heaven.
